Help center

Are my files uploaded?

No. All tools run in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

Is it free?

Yes, every tool on GreenyPDF is free to use without an account.

Which browsers are supported?

The latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers and phones. Very large files work best on a computer.

How do I enter page numbers?

Separate pages with commas and use a dash for ranges. For example 1, 3-5, 8 means pages 1, 3, 4, 5 and 8. 6- means page 6 to the end.

Why is my compressed PDF not much smaller?

Compression works best on scanned documents and PDFs with photos. PDFs that are mostly text are usually small already. If the image-based method would not save much, we keep your text selectable instead.

I forgot the password of my PDF

Unlock PDF only removes a password you already know. We cannot recover lost passwords.
